The SOS Kinderdorf in Bolivia is situated at an altitude of 4000m, in the old gold mining town of Potosi. Many families lives here are shaped by poverty, violence and drug problems. The aid organization cares for children that could no longer stay with their families and gives them a new home with a foster mother and siblings.
The German SOS Children’s Village association is committed to the welfare of children, teenagers and families worldwide. What started as an idea after the Second World War, developed into a widespread network offering aid for children, adolescents, disabled and families.
